Do you love the thrill of adventure but also appreciate great food and delicious wine? Us, too! We enjoy exploring the great state of Colorado in search of the most unique culinary experiences. These dining experiences are anything but ordinary!
Here’s a list of six culinary experiences that get you out of your seat and exploring the wonders of Colorado.
Colorado’s western slope is known for having lush farm hills brimming with peaches, apples, cherries, plums…and of course, grapes! Hop on a Polaris RZR with your professional driver and explore the rich valleys and award-wining wineries of Palisade, Colorado.
Your adventure will take you to five to seven wineries. Each ATV can accommodate up to three guests and even comes equipped with a cooler for any wines or cheeses you pick up along the way! Not only will you get to see the beautiful landscape and farmland of western Colorado but you will also get to enjoy a variety of wine on this private adventure.
Colorado Springs sits nestled at the base of America’s Mountain, Pikes Peak. The famous mountain looms in the background of downtown, where an amazing brewery scene is emerging.
Take a one-mile walking tour will take you to four craft breweries where you will enjoy a flight of beer and a food pairing at each one. You’ll try 14-16 different types of beer! Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of Colorado Springs from your expert Tour Leader. While some brewery tours leave you to foot the food and drink bill, this tour is all-inclusive.
See the grandeur of the Browns Canyon National Monument and the Arkansas River from the perspective of your raft on this ultimate Colorado adventure. You’ll paddle all morning and then stop for a rustic catered BBQ lunch on the banks of the river. After your midday respite, you’ll head back out on the waters to tackle ‘The Numbers,’ a section of the river known for giving an adrenaline rush!
Outlaws, gambling, and brothels…discover the scandalous past of Denver on this fun historical walking tour. On your three-hour journey, you’ll visit three locations where drinks are optional and up to you to purchase. The tour occurs in downtown Denver and hits major landmarks such as Larimer Square, 16th Street Mall, and the Dairy Block. Come for the history…stay for the whiskey!
Explore Canon City, home to the Royal Gorge, by Jeep – the quintessential Colorado vehicle! Take a half-day tour of one of Colorado’s most picturesque attractions, which includes bridge tickets. From the bridge, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the gorge, the Arkansas River, and the wild mountains of Colorado.
But don’t let the experience end there! Add a wine package to your experience to round out the afternoon. The Holy Cross Abbey is a historic monastery built by monks in 1886. Their award-winning wines are today enjoyed throughout the nation. Your tickets will include a VIP wine tasting complete with artisan cheeses, bread, fruit, and chocolate.
Downtown Colorado Springs is a certified creative district with more than 300 works of art on display. Stroll down the streets while your Tour Leader takes you to four bars to try outstanding cocktails and food pairings. You’ll hear about the city’s prohibition history while also getting a classic cocktail demonstration. This perfectly curated walking experience has the perfect mix of drinks, food, and adventure!
