Enjoying your city’s local food scene can get pricey, and it’s easy to get stuck in a rut, returning to the same spot time and time again. Fear not! Colorado Springs is brimming with incredible happy hours! Whether you’re looking for a craft cocktail, a cheap beer, or some really great apps, be sure to check out these 10 spots with the best happy hours in town!
Shugas is a local favorite, providing customers with incredible craft cocktails, soup, and sandwiches with experimental flavor combos. Their ambiance is perfect for an intimate date-night or memorable chat with friends. This trendy spot was started by Alexius Weston, a transplant from the Northwest looking to pave the way for crafts cocktails in Colorado Springs. Mission accomplished.
Shugas’ happy hour runs Monday to Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and includes deals on several craft cocktails, some light fare, and a fan favorite — the “crappy beer and a shot.” If you stick around for dinner, be sure to grab a bowl of the Brazilian Coconut Shrimp Soup. You won’t regret it.
Looking for the biggest bang for your buck? Odyssey Gastropub has got you covered! Odyssey’s global theme means tabletops made out of maps, postcard menus, and most importantly, unique cuisine from around the world. Whether you opt to sit inside under the hanging lamp display or outside on the patio for some prime people watching, Odyssey’s the perfect spot to catch up with an old friend or chat after hours with some coworkers.
Their happy hour runs Monday to Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and from 9:00 – 11:00 PM Sunday through Wednesday! Grab deals on drafts, wells, and house wines, as well as some of the best food deals in town. You can’t beat burgers and fries for just $7.

Talk about a Colorado Springs’ classic! Jose Muldoons has been providing modern Tex Mex to downtown Colorado Springs since 1974, making it the oldest restaurant in operation. Located in the heart of things just across the street from Acacia Park, Jose Muldoons has long been a staple to downtown living. With spacious seating inside and a beautiful outdoor patio, Jose’s is perfect for grabbing a marg and some delicious grub with some friends after a long day of work.
Jose’s happy hour includes deals on drinks like margaritas and sangria, as well as discounted food (nachos and more!) from Monday – Saturday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
Head down the rabbit hole and straight to the bar! This “late-night New American haunt” is one of Colorado Spring’s most unique eateries, mainly due to its moody underground location in what was once the city’s mortuary. Yep, we said it — But don’t worry, the Rabbit Hole is very much alive, and you’re sure to be delighted by the eclectic menu of small bites and craft cocktails.
Grab a $4 draft beer, wine, or well drink and some half-off apps from 3:00 – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Want the inside scoop on all things food in Colorado Springs? The Rabbit Hole is one of the many exciting stops on our Original Colorado Springs Food Tour! Learn more here!
La’au’s Taco Shop is a few blocks north of the CBD in the midst of Colorado College, just behind the Cornerstone Arts Center. While it’s easy to miss, it’s hard to forget. The menu is filled with fresh ingredients inspired by Hawaiian cuisine — “roasted pineapple, mango, lime, green papaya and fresh Mahi-Mahi“ along with some flavors for the more adventurous like Aji de Peru and ancho chilies.
Next time you’re looking for an affordable and laid back happy hour, head to La’au’s Monday to Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 PM for some beer or fresh margaritas (2 for $6) to compliment some of the best tacos in town.
Looking for some authentic Irish pub grub? Look no further! Skip the flight to Ireland and head to Jack Quinn’s where you’ll find Irish favorites like corned beef, cabbage dishes, Irish stew, and fish and chips, often to the tune of live performances from local Celtic bands. Pair your meal with a Guinness or some Irish whiskey and you’ll feel like you’re in the heart of Dublin!
If you’re searching for a deal, be sure to catch their happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. You’ll find deals on wine, domestic beers, and liquors, as well as half-priced apps, along with daily specials on delicious entrees like their Guinness Braised Beef or Fish Sandwich.
A relatively new addition to Downtown Colorado Springs, Cork & Cask provides visitors with an intimate and dark and decadent setting for enjoying an array of bourbons, wines, and mouth-watering bites. Sit back in a cushion of velvet, grab a delicious cocktail, and pair it with one of their many small plate appetizers. Hint: we love their Artisan Bacon!
Their happy hour deals run from 3:00 – 6:00 PM from Monday through Friday and includes $1 off wells, house wines, draft beers and 50% off small plates.
Next door to Cork & Cask, you’ll find delicious tacos and one of the best margaritas in town! Dos Santos, hailing from Denver, should win an award in the category of ambience — a blend of urban and beach touches, mood lighting, and perfect playlists.
Their happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and includes deals on margaritas and other fun cocktails (think Basil Limeade!) as well as a selection of uniquely flavored tacos.
Tucked back in a residential neighborhood of Downtown Colorado Springs, Good Neighbors is surrounded by 1920s bungalows, dog walkers, and the sounds of kids playing. True to its name, it has become a watering hole for local downtown residents — a place for first dates, studying, and grabbing coffee with friends. Good Neighbors serves coffee and the like by day, while offering cocktails, wine, charcuterie and more in the evenings.
Their happy hour includes specials on food and drinks and runs from Monday to Friday from 4:00 – 6:30 PM.
The Bench is one of Downtown Colorado Springs’ only true sports bars, providing you with delicious food and drinks as you cheer on your favorite teams. Being the sister restaurant to Odyssey Gastropub, visitors can expect sports bar classics, with a twist of new and exciting flavor combinations. If your ideal happy hour includes watching a game, this is the place for you!
Happy hour is daily from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM to close and includes $4 drafts, $3 wells/house wines, and $2 select cans and discounted food (nachos, wings, edamame, and more!).
